How it works
Which areas are you staging?
Name each one. A listing can hold two bedrooms that need telling apart.
Three problems every listing agent knows.
Turn a card to see what the studio does about each.
Everyone who presents property.

Help buyers picture a vacant listing furnished.
Empty rooms photograph as bare floor area, and a staged photo has to say it was staged. In California, AB 723 also requires a link to the original.

Undisclosed staging is a legal risk. Vesta labels every frame.
Every frame Vesta produces carries a durable AB 723 disclosure watermark, a SHA-256 photo hash, and an append-only audit-ledger entry: perceptible, permanent, and on the record. Every staged frame in your gallery carries its disclosure and its ledger entry before it ever leaves the studio.
California Business and Professions Code § 10140.8 (AB 723, effective January 1, 2026)
AB-723 Disclosure
A perceptible, durable disclosure label on every staged frame, the statement California's AB 723 asks for.
SHA-256 Photo Hash
A cryptographic fingerprint binds the staged image to its empty original.
Append-Only Audit Chain
Each transform is signed and recorded, immutable and independently verifiable.
Your listing rules
Vesta adds a permanent disclosure and gives you a public originals page with a link and QR code. You remain responsible for your ads and the MLS and listing-site rules that apply to them; this is not legal advice.

Your questions, answered.
Including the two most people are too polite to ask: whether this is legal, and what it actually costs.
How realistic are the results?
Vesta furnishes the room you photographed rather than generating a new one. The walls, windows, floor and proportions in the output are the ones in your frame. Lighting and perspective are matched to the original, which is what stops staged photography reading as a composite.
Is virtually staged photography legal to publish?
Yes, with disclosure. California Business and Professions Code § 10140.8 (AB 723, effective January 1, 2026) requires two things wherever a broker or salesperson advertises a digitally altered photo of a property for sale: a statement on or next to it that it has been altered, and a link, URL or QR code to a public page showing the unaltered original. Vesta adds a permanent disclosure to every staged image and provides a public originals page for each photo, with a link and a QR code. You remain responsible for placing the link and following the rules that apply to your listings; your MLS may add its own, and if it bans QR codes in photos, use the listing's originals link instead. This is a summary, not legal advice.
What may I not do with it?
Anything that misrepresents the property itself. Adding furniture is staging; removing a supporting wall, widening a room, hiding damage or changing the view out of the window is misrepresentation, and no disclosure makes it acceptable. Vesta's tools are scoped to the furnishing side of that line.
Will the same room look consistent across several photos?
Closer than staging each photo on its own. Multi-angle staging renders every frame of an area with one room type, style and seed, so the set shares a palette and a furniture style. The model still composes each view separately, so individual pieces will not line up between angles; a frame that strays can be re-run on the same seed.
What does it cost?
One finished image at standard resolution is one credit. Self-serve plans are Solo at $29 a month for 45 credits, Agent at $50 for 75 and Studio at $180 for 280; Atelier (from $280 a month) and Enterprise (from $1,200 a month) are arranged through sales. Every new account starts with 10 free credits (1 credit = 1 standard image), and trial exports carry the Vesta studio mark until you choose a plan. Requesting several variants, a higher output resolution, or several angles of one room uses a credit for each extra image or resolution step. Multi-angle staging comes with Agent and above; all 50 AI design styles and output resolution above 2x come with Atelier and Enterprise. Solo plan credits expire at the end of each billing cycle; Agent, Studio, Atelier and Enterprise plan credits, and any remaining pack credits, roll over while your account stays open. One-time credit packs are no longer sold.
Can I cancel, and what is your refund policy?
You can cancel any time from the billing page in the Studio. Cancellation stops the next renewal and takes effect at the end of the period you have already paid for; you keep your plan and credits until then. Solo plan credits expire at the end of each billing cycle; Agent and larger plan credits, and any remaining pack credits, roll over while your account stays open. A render that fails or comes back without an image returns its credits automatically, and a technically defective render reported within 14 days gets its credit back. Your first subscription has a 14-day guarantee: a full refund if you ask within 14 days of that payment and have used no more than 10 credits, once per customer. An unused credit pack can be refunded within 14 days of purchase; renewal payments are not refundable. The full policy is in our Terms at vestastudio.io/terms#refund-policy.
Which file formats can I upload?
JPG, PNG and WEBP, up to 20 MB a frame. Shoot as high a resolution as your camera gives you: the detail in the original is what the staged output inherits, and an underexposed phone snap stays an underexposed phone snap with a sofa in it.
Can I stage exteriors and outdoor space?
Yes. Alongside interior staging there are tools for landscaping and lawn replacement, sky replacement, twilight conversion and seasonal change, and two pool tools that fill an empty pool or clear cloudy water. Each is steered by a prompt, so check the result against the original, and disclose it: every one of these edits makes a digitally altered image.
What is AI virtual staging?
AI virtual staging uses artificial intelligence to add furniture and decor to photographs of empty rooms, so buyers can picture the space lived in. Vesta Studio is designed to keep the walls, windows and floor from your photo and compose the furniture into that room, and a staged image is back within minutes. Inspect each output against the original before publishing.
How does AI virtual staging compare with physical staging on cost?
Physical staging is typically quoted at thousands of dollars per home, with rental fees for as long as the furniture stays. Vesta Studio plans start at $29 a month for 45 credits (one credit is one finished standard image, about $0.64 each), and a staged photo is ready the same day. Virtual staging does not replace a showing in a furnished home: it furnishes the listing photographs, not the rooms.
Can I choose the design style, and leather or other upholstery?
Yes. Pick a room type (living room, bedroom, dining room, kitchen, home office, bathroom) and a style (Modern Minimal, Scandinavian, Industrial Loft, Mid-Century, Boho Chic, Rustic Cabin). Add a note such as "cognac leather sofa" or "walnut dining table with tan leather chairs" and the brief steers the render. The model interprets the brief, so check the result against it.
Is there a free way to try AI virtual staging?
Yes. Every new account gets 10 free credits (1 credit = 1 standard image), with no card needed, so you can stage your own listing photos before choosing a plan. Trial exports carry the Vesta studio mark; the AB 723 disclosure is applied on every plan.
